The Mil-tek X-Press 100 Long Cylinder Waste Press is a small size waste compactor suitable for a variety of locations such as kitchens, small cafes, food preparation sites, hospitals, shops, and general waste areas. The stainless steel waste press is small enough to be installed indoors and in clean, working environments. It is free from oil or other contaminants. By virtue of having a small footprint of less than 52cm2, the XP100S Waste Press can be installed into compact workplaces like kitchens and waste rooms, thus simplifying the process of waste disposal and minimizing the time staff spend transporting waste. The lengthier cylinder of the XP100S Waste Press allows for more compacts waste with each stroke and cycle. creating densely compacted bags of waste up to 50 kg in weight. This also reduces power usage in each cycle. With the waste press running on as little as 2 bars of pressure, further environmental savings are also apparent. A Mil-tek Lift Trolley simplifies the process of removing and disposing of compacted waste from an XP100S Waste Press. By simply sliding ompacted bags onto a Mil-tek Lift Trolley, you can easily wheel bags to an outdoor waste unit where they can be winched up and pushed off. This removes the need for heavy lifting and reduces the frequency of trips outdoors.
Ibis is an international hotel company with over 1,000 hotels worldwide. Ibis partnered with Mil-tek because of the increasing volume of waste and the space it was taking up.
Espresso Exchange Cafe in Liverpool bought an XP100 waste compactor to handle their general/mixed waste. The ease of use and small size were particularly advantageous.
Super Brugsen is a supermarket chain with more than 220 stores in Denmark. They use two mobile wagons in their food production are for both their biodegradable and recyclable waste.
A Mil-tek technician will guide you through installation, which is done by simply connecting your XP Waste Press to a compressed air supply. Compactors can also be secured to walls or floors.
Fill the wagon with mixed waste. Once the lid is closed the machine is activated. To open, simply lift the lid and wait for the plate to return. Repeat this process until the wagon is full.
Every business is different. Our waste consultants conduct site surveys in order to determine the right waste solution for you. Everything is taking into consideration, from the current waste and recycling solution, to the transport logistics, to the space available. The goal isn't to find a suitable waste press or compactor, it's to create a total waste management solution.
Yes you can. The Mil-tek X-Press is air-powered, meaning that not only does is there no risk of contamination from oil, it is also extremely quiet.
The XP range of machines are designed to neatly replace a standard drum-size waste container. This is mounted on a wheeled trolley facilitating simple changing and transport.
As they are air-powered (pneumatic) rather than hydraulic, Mil-tek compactors are extremely quiet (<70 dB). If you have an existing air-line you simply plug the machine and then your existing compressor acts as the engine. If you need to have a compressor installed, a Mil-tek technician will ensure that the compressor is placed at an appropriate distance from the machine.
The X100S Waste Press represents a environmentally friendly, hygienic and cost reducing solution for busy kitchens. The smaller footprint means that it can be easily placed indoors in tight and compact locations. As it is both stainless steel and pneumatic, their is no inherent risk of contamination from oil.
Bags of rubbish can be loaded directly into the XP100S Waste Compactor, ensuring that odours and fluids remain inside the drum, thus maintaining a higher standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
For food producing and food processing facilities, cleanliness, hygiene and sanitation are crucial parameters.
A Mil-tek 100S is perfectly suited for this type of environments as stainless steel frame and smaller footprint ensure that the XP100S is both durable enough and flexible enough to be installed in such an environment.
The XP100S allows for the compaction of hazardous and non recyclable waste. Waste can be placed directly into the drum, or alternatively the compactor can be converted to suit a hazardous/medical waste drum.
The longer cylinder safely and hygienically compacts waste with each stroke, and the wheel-mounted wagon will minimize any contact staff have with material as well as minimizing the potential for leakage.
