The IC60 makes it possible to recover and recycle mineral wool – material that is often discarded as waste. By diverting it from landfill, businesses can significantly reduce disposal volumes while turning processed material into a valuable recyclable resource.
The Mil-tek IC60 is designed to reduce bulky insulation waste by shredding and compacting materials such as mineral wool and stone wool. Waste insulation is easily fed into the machine through a large top-loading opening.
Inside, a powerful screw system breaks down the fibres into a fine, dense material, eliminating trapped air and enabling efficient compaction. The IC60 is built with operator safety in mind, featuring integrated sensors and dust filtration to minimise exposure to airborne particles.
With a throughput of over 500 kg per hour, the machine delivers compacted output directly into bulk bags for simple handling and transport. The processed material is ready for recycling without the need for additional treatment.
